Names and figures, shared on request and with permission.

We could fill this page with glossy numbers. We don't, for two reasons: our clients' data is theirs, and we'd rather you hear it from them. Here's how typical engagements run, and we'll gladly introduce you to clients who'll talk.

Every engagement below is a composite of work patterns we do repeatedly; real outcomes vary.

What they usually want

  • Trusted references before they commit
  • Honest scope, not a brochure promise
  • One team for ERP and accounting
  • Clear next steps after a health check
Case studies

Resellers to chemical units — the same twelve complaints, changes with every industry.

We work with OEM resellers, distributors, dealers, traders, paper manufacturers, chemical manufacturers and a long list of businesses in between. The product changes, the complaints don't. Again and again the same twelve problems come up, and they get the same answer: an end-to-end solution on one platform. Odoo runs the office, the books and the go-down, and Feriyo — the Odoo-connected app we build for these businesses — travels with you. Counter, rack and truck: the same data everywhere, no second copy of anything.

  • Stock — the book, the shelf and the go-down each kept their own version
  • Automated purchase — reordering meant walking the racks and trusting memory
  • Dispatch — goods left once on paper and once in the books, never at the same time
  • LR copy — the lorry receipt was a separate paper, findable only by a phone call
  • GST & returns — returns rebuilt from bunched-up files at month-end, and again at quarter-end
  • Reconciliations — the bank and the purchases never quite matched, so credit leaked quietly
  • Sales returns — a return needed three entries in three places; usually one got missed
  • Pricing and multiple discounts — each party had its own rate and discount stack, typed in by hand
  • Multiple pricing — counter price, wholesale price, party-wise rate, all of it in one person's head
  • Advance reporting — "who owes us past 90 days" meant asking whoever typed the fastest
  • Statutory compliances — e-invoice, e-way bill, 2B matching: each month had its own scramble
  • Single-click audits — year-end meant days of gathering the papers your CA asks for

That's the whole list, in the order it usually shows up. Pick three industries from the list — autoparts, stationery, piping — and the mess started at a different point in each one. Same complaints, same platform, same fix at the end of it.

Automobile spare parts — counter plus go-down, retail and wholesale

A parts business where the counter and the shelf disagreed.

How it ran before
Parts were bought in a box and sold by the piece. Interchangeable parts meant the same item existed twice in the book and once in reality, so "in stock" was a guess. Garages on credit were billed at whatever rate the person at the counter happened to remember.
Where it hurt
Stock first, then pricing. A sale for a garage on credit went into a diary, and the return, weeks later, meant finding the diary page again. The GST return was rebuilt from file-bundles at month-end.
What we changed
Odoo now carries every part with its interchanges, so the counter sells the right item without hunting. Price lists and discount stacks are set once — retail, wholesale, garage-wise — and purchases reorder themselves around minimum stock. On the counter phone, Feriyo does the sale, the stock deduction and the bill print in one tap.
One number for stockCounter, go-down and books agree, whether you check on Odoo or Feriyo
Purchases that reorder themselvesMinimum stock raises the PO without anyone walking the racks
Returns unwind cleanlyA return reverses stock, the customer's bill and GST in the same entry
Dispatch and LR carry one numberThe go-down prints the challan and the LR from the record the books already use
Stationery — counter retail plus institutional wholesale

One pen, three units, three ways to price it.

How it ran before
The same pen was sold as a single piece, a pack of ten and a box of a hundred — three units, three prices, and nobody could count what was actually on the shelf. Schools and offices got a printed rate sheet that changed every season, and dead stock sat in the back rack, still "in stock" to anyone who asked.
Where it hurt
Multi-unit pricing, packing kits for tenders, dead stock — and the seasonal purchase order that always seemed a little wrong, ordered by memory once a year.
What we changed
Odoo keeps one product with pack-size conversions, so selling by the piece deducts the right quantity from the same shelf. Price lists are set for the counter, for the wholesale buyer and for each institution, and the fast movers reorder themselves past their minimum. Feriyo prints the counter bill and checks stock without a trip to the go-down.
One pen, right unitPiece, pack or box — stock and GST stay in the same units as the bill
Kits priced from live stockA tender kit bundles from what's actually here, not from a memory
Dead stock stops hidingWhat hasn't moved earns its own report instead of a year in the back rack
Institution rates on fileEach school and office pays its own agreed price, applied automatically
Piping & building material — wholesale, with site delivery

Pipe sold by the length, the cut and the weight, in three separate books.

How it ran before
Pipe was bought in running metres and sold as full lengths, cut lengths or by weight — and the conversion lived in the owner's head. Contractors took material on credit for site delivery, the LR copy sat in the truck driver's glove box, and every cut meant the books and the rack quietly parted company.
Where it hurt
Unit conversions, party-wise pricing, dispatch with the LR, contractor credit — and e-way bills that had to be made up from memory at the end of the day.
What we changed
Odoo holds the sizes and grades and does the metre-to-piece-to-weight conversion, so the bill and the stock agree whether you sell a length or a cut. Contractors have set credit limits, dispatch prints the challan and the LR from one record, and the e-way bill is generated from that same dispatch. On the go-down floor, Feriyo matches the delivery to the LR number on the spot.
Metres, lengths, weight — one stockSell it in any unit; the shelf and the books stay together
LR not lost in a glove boxDispatch generates the LR and the challan from the same record
Contractor credit that stops itselfCredit limits set once; the sale is blocked past the limit
E-way bill from the dispatchGenerated in Feriyo at loading, not made up after the truck leaves

The honest ask

We'd rather you talk to them.

A written case study can't answer "was it worth it for your size of unit?". A five-minute call with a client who was in your position can. Ask us for references in your industry and your city — if it's a fit, we'll introduce you.
